Continuing on the strong revival of the traditions in North Fingal over the last decade the sea-side town of Skerries hosts another exciting weekend of music, song and dance on May 14th-16th (Fri-Sun).
A full programme of recitals, concerts and workshops will take place at several venues in the town. Many of Ireland's leading traditional artistes will both teach and perform to keep Skerries firmly on the traditional venue map. Young and old are invited to actively participate or just relax and enjoy an evening 'session'. The 2010 program will again include the Friday Opening Night concert, 2 smaller intimate venue recitals on Saturday evening, Sunday morning at the Mills, the Focus on Fingal recital on Sunday afternoon, pub sessions Friday and Saturday evenings and Set Dancing Saturday & Sunday evenings.
