The official opening will take place on Friday 24th followed by ‘ceol agus craic’!. Classes will be held on Saturday from 10.00am to 5.00pm. A recital is planned for the evening featuring tutors Seán Óg Potts, Gay McKeon and Kieran O’Malley, with local musicians Michael Lavelle (Border Pipes/Flute) and Seán Lynch (Uilleann Pipes). As a special treat, pipers (Highland Pipes) from the award winning Achill Pipe Band will also feature.
