IRELAND

Teaching is provided voluntarily on a weekly basis at the Society’s ‘home’, 15 Henrietta Street in Dublin, and at other locations throughout the country. Weekend masterclasses in piping and reedmaking are also held at Henrietta Street to accomodate students living outside Dublin. Regional events are held throughout Ireland; these consist of workshops, classes and recitals and the Society is deeply involved in the Piping sections of the events, particularly at summer schools, thus providing intense teaching at all levels of learning.

Photographic exhibitions on pipes and piping, with video material and recorded music and occasionally with live performances, are organised from time to time and travel to libraries and art centres in Ireland and abroad.

THROUGHOUT THE WORLD

The Society has a world-wide membership and sizeable active clubs exist in the United States of America, Canada, France Germany, Holland, Great Britain, New Zealand and Australia.
