Terry Moylan started learning the pipes with Leo Rowsome in 1968. He became a member of Na Píobairí Uilleann the same year and has served on the committee of NPU since 1971. He has been the Na Píobairí Uilleann archivist since April 2001.
He has served several terms as a board member of the Irish Traditional Music Archive and was a member of the committee set up to advise on the content of "Ceol", the Irish music interpretative centre. He was a founder member of the Folk Music Society of Ireland.
He has an interest in music, song and dance, and has published works in all three fields. He has lectured on music and dance, and conducted dance workshops throughout Ireland and in Britain, Europe and the USA. |
