Hi,
Am thinking about investing in a set from these guys. Have heard the samples on the web and the good reviews but is there anyone playing a set regularly that would recommend them.
Thanks |

Hello,
This might be an old post I'm replying to, but I have a set by these guys so I thought I might give my impressions..
Unfortunately I heard Hevia Parrado y Aragon are not making uilleann pipes at present, well I feel lucky to have got one of their instruments- a full deluxe set in D.
I found the quality of materials and workmanship to be top-quality. The stainless steel keys feel very strong. Overall it is a classic style set without too much experimental type design. Plays beautifully, and comes with excellent case. One minor point is that I might replace the chanter top for a wooden type, for a mellower sound some day.
